Hole 1 | Par 4
The opening hole plays about 389 and is a gentle dogleg left. Favor the left side of the fairway if you can to stay away from the bunkers on the right, but if you pull your tee shot left, you may find tree trouble in the rough..

Hole 2 | Par 5
A fantastic look at the Indian Peaks in the distance from the tee box, but focus on getting your tee shot in the fairway. A good drive can reach the right fairway bunker, but stay in the fairway and miss it, and you might be able to reach the green in two.

Hole 3 | Par 3
With the swiftly flowing canal on your left, and OB hugging the right side, this well bunkered Par 3 can be intimidating off the tee. However, a smooth swing with the right club can easily find the large green, and walking off this hole with a par is a great feeling.

Hole 4 | Par 4
Probably the toughest tee shot on the course, with OB left, and the canal coming into play again, but this time along the entire right side. Good drives will avoid fairway bunkers short right and long left, and leave most players between 200 to 150 yards into a large, but undulating green.

Hole 5 | Par 4
The par 4 5th is chance for players to catch their breath, and be a little more aggressive with their tee shot. The hole doglegs slightly to the right, and approach shots may need an extra half-club to find the elevated green.

Hole 6 | Par 3
A beautiful but tricky par 3. An elevated green requires a little more thought when picking the club, but be certain when you do. The green runs diagonally to the tee box, and a large greenside bunker guards the pin when its back and left.

Hole 7 | Par 4
The right-hander who draws the ball will love the set up on this tee shot. Facing towards the Rocky Mountains again, a drive must either move slightly right to left to follow the fairway, or it must be aggressive and be taken directly over the fairway bunkers guarding the left side. Errant drives right will find tree trouble and make par a difficult score indeed.

Hole 8 | Par 4
A straightaway par 4, and a long one at that. Playing 465 from the back tees, the drive must be accurate to avoid trees on both the left and right, and the seemingly ever-present canal awaits those shots that move a little too far right off the tee.

Hole 9 | Par 4
Coming back towards the clubhouse, this par 4 plays uphill, and moves slightly from right to left. Take an extra ½ club for your approach distance, but make sure the shot stays below the pin. One of the most sloping greens from back to front, those putting downhill towards the flag are begging for a 3 putt.

Hole 10 | Par 4
Originally a par 5, the 10th hole now plays as a very challenging par 4. Hug the left side of the fairway to take advantage of the dogleg left, but stay out of the trees in the left rough, and the fairway bunker at the end of the fairway if you want a decent look at hitting the green for your second shot. The deepest green on the course requires accurate yardage if you hope to get a look at a reasonable 1st putt.

Hole 11 | Par 3
The longest of the par 3’s, it plays every bit of 228 yards from the tips, and has a very large greenside bunker front left waiting to swallow errant shots. A great deal of slope and undulation in this green makes 2-putts no easy feat, and will test even the best putters and their green reading abilities.

Hole 12 | Par 5
This great par 5 can be reached in two if you have the firepower, but you had better keep it straight. Trees guard the entire left side of the fairway off the tree, and out of bounds comes in quickly on the right for wayward drives. Numerous fairway bunkers guard the right side approaches, but the most imposing of all is “Jaws”, waiting to devour any shot unfortunate enough to miss off the left side of the green.

Hole 13 | Par 4
A true risk-reward par 4. The creek that runs through the center of the hole gives you something to think about. A good lay-up short of it will give you somewhere between 160 and 200 yards for a second shot. However, if you can carry it 240 yards or more and find the other side of the fairway, you can attack the pin for your approach.

Hole 14 | Par 4
A bit of a breather for your tee shot, with a wide, uphill fairway to aim for. Depending on the pin placement, however, your work is not over until you are safely on the green, and in the bottom of the cup. Many pars and birdies have died gruesome deaths at the hands of the dreaded 3-putt on this green.

Hole 15 | Par 3
BCC’s signature hole. With a short downhill par 3 in front of you, and the beauty of Colorado’s mountains in the background, don’t be fooled into thinking it’s an easy hole. Pay attention to the pin position and choose your club carefully if you want to have a look at birdie here.

Hole 16 | Par 4
A very solid 419 yard par 4, and test of the golfer’s intellect. A good drive must find the left side of the fairway if you want to have the best look at a green after the slight dogleg right. Those sliding too far to the right may get blocked by trees, and would be fortunate to find the raised green in two.

Hole 17 | Par 4
A beautiful dogleg left par 4. Aggressive hitters will take driver and challenge the pond on the left of the fairway. However anything long and wrong can find bunkers, trees, water, or O.B. The percentage play is a little less club and down the middle, leaving a 150-175 yard shot into the green.

Hole 18 | Par 4
A fantastic finishing hole, #18 can be a beast when played all the way back at 451 yards. Uphill all the way, fairway bunkers left and right, you will need more club than you think on your approach. If the pin is up front, you’ll be better off missing just short of the green than if you hit it more than 5 yards past the pin with a severe slope from middle to front.
