Dress Code

All applicants who come to Boulder Country Club to fill out applications or be interviewed must be appropriately dressed according the Club's dress code. Proper attire is required at all times in the common areas in and around the Clubhouse. All clothing must be neat, clean, un-tattered and otherwise orderly. Appropriate footwear is required throughout the clubhouse.

Cutoffs, short shorts, tank tops, jogging shorts/tops, halter tops, crop tops, wide-net shirts, men’s sleeveless t-shirt and swim attire are not permitted anywhere in the clubhouse.

    • Indoor Cycling Instructor

      Boulder Country Club is looking for experienced indoor cycling instructors to join our wonderful team. Various class times are available but the ideal candidate must be open to teaching early morning classes.

      Requirements:

      Group Fitness certification from accredited agency: ACE, AFAA, NASM, etc
      Cycling certification (prefer STAGES or SCHWINN)

      Group Fitness Instructor

      Boulder Country Club is currently looking for Group Fitness Instructors that can teach a variety of classes. Various class times are available.

      Requirements:

      Group Fitness certification from accredited agency: ACE, AFAA, NASM, etc

      Personal Trainer

      Experience & Qualifications Desired:

      • 4 yr degree or higher preferred in Exercise Physiology or similar
      • Personal Training certification from accredited agency; NSCA, ACSM, NASM, preferred
      • CPR/AED Certification
      • Minimum of 3 years of experience minimum in the fitness industry with strong consideration given to candidates with a proven track record of developing & maintaining a clientele
      • Rock solid work ethic, professional drive and commitment to a team
      • Demonstration of strong emotional intelligence with a focus on customer service and relationship building
      • Demonstration of abilities to plan & execute large scale fitness promotions via website, Facebook, Twitter, video, monthly club newsletter for club members with goals of increasing overall member participation that would translate directly in to building long-term business
      • Candidates who have experience with teaching group fitness classes (all types) in addition to personal training will be strongly considered
      • Proficient use of Microsoft Xcel and Word

      Must be available early mornings to handle largest client demands (busiest 5:30 am-11 am, evenings 4-7 pm and some weekends as needed. Whatever it takes to manage the department, build a clientele, exceed customer expectations as well as sales goals.

      Massage Therapist

      Boulder Country Club is hiring licensed, experienced, outgoing, and professional massage therapists for the following shifts:

      Wednesday 3:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
      Friday 3:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
      Saturday* 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
      Sunday* 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
      *must be available for weekend shifts

      Opportunities for paid Event Chair work in addition to regular shift work.All staff are employees, not independent contractors.  The massage department at Boulder Country Club is housed at the Athletic Center and feature two treatment rooms and menu of massage options including Swedish, Sports, Deep Tissue, Assisted Stretching, Hot Stone, Pre-Natal, MFR and Thai Yoga Massage.

      Job Description:

      • Maintain a current Colorado massage therapy license in good standing
      • Pay will be 40%-45% commission plus tips (depending on experience)
      • Ensure that members receive high-quality, professional, treatments as scheduled
      • Be a sales person at all times, recommending club products and services to BCC members
      • Always be positive and professional
      • Present a neat and well-groomed appearance at all times
      • Abide by all BCC rules and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook
      • Maintain cleanliness of massage rooms before, after and during shift
      • Limit conversations to professional matters relating to treatments with members and staff
      • Must be CPR certified (will certify you if not already current)
      • Must complete paperwork/SOAP charting related to scheduled massages

    • Assistant Swim Coach

      Coaching Description

      • Ensuring the safety of swimmers during all practices, swim meets and extracurricular events
      • Strive to provide a fun, safe and high quality experiences
      • Working with the head coach to organize and maintain cohesive practice plans
      • Help to design and write up various practice plans for different ages and skill levels
      • Provide continual feedback to swimmers keeping in mind each swimmer’s age and ability
      • Participate and be involved in practices, meets and extracurricular activities
      • Work with other coaches, staff and members of the club in a professional and appropriate manner
      • Preform other job related duties as needed or directed


      Qualification

      • Previous swim coaching and instruction experience required
      • Exhibits advanced knowledge of stroke techniques relating to the four competitive strokes
      • Problem solving and decision making skills
      • Professional attitude and appearance
      • Must meet current safety requirements in CPR, AED and safety training for Swim Coaches (or Lifeguard Training equivalency) as well as concussion management training

      We are looking for a qualified candidate with restaurant experience. At the Boulder Country Club we strive on a standard of excellence for our members. As a restaurant server you are responsible to day to day interactions with our members. This includes:

        Houseman

        The Boulder Country Club is looking to fill a houseman position, between 30-35 hours per week, with closer to 40 hours per week during our busier months. We are hoping to have someone that is available to work on weekdays and weekends.

        POSITION DESCRIPTION:
        • Set up and tear down events according to details on each individual event sheet
        • Report to the Catering Director as well as the Lead Houseman for tasks and to-do's during the shift
        • Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day, practicing clean-as-you-go procedures
        • Let the maintenance department know of any damages or repairs needed
        • Able to multi – task and organize multiple orders, thoughts, and tasks within the same given time
        • Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance
        • Individual will need to be available on the weekends to set large events with the lead houseman
        • Previous experience preferred but not required

        Deli / Snack Bar

        The Boulder Country Club Deli is a new and improved dining area for our exclusive membership, serving wide variety of quick service meals. We are currently seeking to hire a deli attendant for our busy season. Candidates should have service experience in a deli/quick pick-up setting.         EXPECTATIONS:  

        To provide top quality cart, bag and golf services to the members of Boulder Country Club.  Greet members as they arrive on property and assist them with their golf needs. Manage golf cart fleet by staging, cleaning, and stocking carts. Establish a rapport with members and making every members’ experience as service oriented as possible. Perform and execute all tasks related to the driving range and practice facilities.   Job candidates are expected to be professional, high energy, hard-working, punctual, dependable, self-motivated and exude a positive attitude.  

        JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:         

        Candidates will be on their feet, working outside for 6 to 8 hours a day.         
        Be able to lift 50 -75 lbs.       
        Be neatly groomed and dressed in appropriate BCC staff uniform         
        Eager to greet and serve members with a smile         
        Set up and maintain staging area, driving range and practice facility throughout the day.         
        Maintain a quality level of service to the membership which shall include the following:
        -Greeting players
        -Loading and unloading bags on carts
        -Providing towels prior to round and at the turn
        -Sweeping out private carts
        -Washing windshields
        -Transporting bags to parking lot or bag drop area
        -Washing all players clubs before and after use 
        Maintain a clean and orderly bag-room, staging area, cart facility, range facility, and practice area      
        Clean and return carts to cart facility         
        Breakdown driving range          
        Wash and return appropriate players clubs to bag storage room       
        Pick practice balls up off driving range and wash/stock      
        Wash, dry and fold towels         
        Care for & maintain walking pull carts

        Golf Shop Assistant

        EXPECTATIONS:

        To provide the membership quality customer service by interacting with them through the golf operation and satisfying members and guests needs through tee sheet reservations, phone calls and utilization of our point of sale system.      
        Job Responsibilities:

        Check in members or guests utilizing the Point of Sale system for processing purchases and credit card transactions.
        Answering phone calls and managing tee sheet reservation system.
        Maintain the golf shop environment by keeping the shop neat and orderly: straightening and stocking merchandise
        Assists merchandiser or head professional with display of new merchandise (steam, fold, price)
        Vacuums and tidies the golf shop daily Utilize excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, organization skills and have the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
        Must maintain a flexible schedule
        Perform opening and closing procedures for the golf shop.
        Work as a team member and communicate with outside services staff, helping out when needed
        Help out with other golf operation needs as instructed by professional staff    

        Hours of Employment:

        April – September: Tuesday – Sunday, with a Monday outing schedule (6 events). 
        Must be able to work weekends  
        7:30am Open April & September
        6:30am Open May - August

        Locker Room Attendant

        This position requires a highly self-motivated individual who can work with minimal supervision and interact with members at a high level. Under the direction of the Director of Golf, the locker room attendant is a seasonal/part-time position responsible for professionally and efficiently maintaining the locker room areas and fulfilling needs and requests of members and their guests. Ensures member satisfaction and provides the highest quality service as expected. Performs all work in accordance with essential functions and responsibilities as described below.

        EXPECTATIONS: 
        Manage the daily operations of the Men’s and Women’s locker rooms
        Graciously tends to the needs of members and guests, and anticipates requests
        Creates an environment that facilitates a welcoming, enjoyable club experience
        Cleans, shines, and repairs shoes for members and guests
        Is knowledgeable of club services, features and events
        Maintains par stocks and notifies Director of Golf when inventories are low
        Organizes and maintains locker room work area
        Presents an immaculately groomed and presentable appearance in the appropriate attire
        Works in a positive, cooperative and pleasant manner with members, colleagues and management
        Performs all other tasks and duties as determined necessary by management  


        Additional Responsibilities:
